Currently the No. 4 Men's 4x400 relay in the country (3:04.01@), Jayden Davis-Mateo Medina-Malik Franklin-Dayton Carlson will contend for the team's second consecutive Indoor national title after winning last year in Boston. Davis and Carlson are no strangers to the national stage, while Medina and Franklin have qualified in just their true freshmen seasons.
Davis will enter as the top-seeded Sun Devil individual after posting a remarkable 45.06@ in the Men's 400m at the Big 12 Championships. He set a new school record, the second-fastest time in the NCAA and the third-best time in the world this season. He trails just Baylor's Nathaniel Ezekiel (44.85@) and will compete for his first career Indoor individual title after he was the third leg of the Sun Devils' winning 4x400 relay at last season's Indoor championships.
Carlson will enter the meet owning the seventh-fastest 800m in the country this spring, running a school-record 1:46.39@ in February. He'll compete at his first Indoor national championships after earning All-American honors for the first time in his career at last year's NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Tatum will represent the Sun Devil Women at her first Indoor championships, thanks to a school-record 22.76@ she ran in the 200m at the Big 12 Championships. Having posted the 10th-fastest time in the country this season, the 2x Outdoor championship qualifier Tatum has a chance to become the team's first All-American in the 200m since Jasmine Chaney in 2011.
