TEMPE, Ariz. — It's March Matness season.

Richard Figueroa will enter the Big 12 Championships, held at the BOK Center in Tulsa from March 8-9, as the top-seeded 125-pounder, the conference announced on Monday along with brackets. The top-eight in each weight class earned rankings, as No. 1 Figueroa was joined by No. 2 Cohlton Schultz (HWT) and No. 6 Nicco Ruiz (165) as the three Sun Devils tabbed with top-eight listings.

Figueroa and Schultz will open the tournament with first-round byes, but six Sun Devil wrestlers will be tasked with a top-eight assignment on Saturday.

The Big 12 Wrestling Championships are set to begin at 9 a.m. AZT on Saturday, March 8 with two sessions. Sunday will begin with the third session at 11 a.m. AZT before the finals at 7 p.m. AZT. The first three sessions will be carried on ESPN+ with the championship round broadcasted on ESPNU.
