BERKELEY, Calif. – Earning a season-high score of 196.800, the Gym Devils placed second to kick off the first quad meet of the weekend in California on Friday night. To cap off the season-high scoring, a 49.300 on the last rotation solidified the season-high score on vault for the Sun Devils.

- Arizona State (9-8) beat BYU (6-13) and Washington (4-15), while falling to No. 6 Cal (21-2).

Rotation One: Bars, 49.300
Smith and Mangahas kicked off the meet for the Sun Devils on vault and each recorded a 9.850. The two were followed by White who stuck her landing for a 9.875. Clark wrapped off the first rotation for the Gym Devils, tying her season best with a 9.925.
Rotation Two: Beam, 48.900
The Gym Devils were not able to replicate the strong performance that took place on bars, however Kayla Lee and Clark were able to notch a 9.850 to keep the Sun Devils on track.
Rotation Three: Floor, 49.300
Arizona State found their rhythm again on floor, with Halle Braaflat notching a 9.825 to kick off the third rotation. Smith did her thing and recorded a 9.850 for the Gym Devils. Gregoire, Managahas and White closed out the rotation, each recording a 9.875 to round up a total score of 49.300.
Rotation Four: Vault, 49.300
The Sun Devils flipped the switch in the last rotation and recorded a season high on vault with a 49.300. Gregoire and White set the tone for the Gym Devils, each notching a 9.875. Mangahas closed out the rotation and recorded a 9.900 to tie her season high.
