TEMPE - No. 41 Sun Devil Men's Tennis (6-5) handled business on Friday in a 4-0 sweep of Liberty (3-7) in their opening match at the Diablos Collegiate Invitational. The tournament will continue tomorrow at Kiwanis Tennis Center, with ASU taking on Boise State at 10 a.m. AZT.
Both of ASU's ranked doubles pairs helped snatch the opening point in the contest as #55 Matic Dimic/Bor Artnak and #62 Tanner Pover/Daniel Phillips each recorded their seventh wins on the season. Dimic and Artnak had to fight for a 7-5 victory improving their record as a pair to 7-3 on the season. The partnership of Povey and Phillips took the win more comfortably, downing their opponent 6-3.
In singles, Roi Ginat stormed to a 6-3, 6-1 victory to double the lead for the Sun Devils before Mathis Bondaz and Bor Artnak closed it out. Bondaz stayed in control for much of the match winning 6-2, 6-4 while Artnak dominated after clawing to win the opening set in his 7-6(2), 6-1 win.

With a win, ASU would face the winner of Arizona/Washington in the Championship match. A loss would have ASU facing the loser of Arizona/Washington match in the third place match.
