WILMINGTON, NC – The Arizona State Men's Golf team finished their fall campaign earlier today, shooting 15-under (285-284-280=849) to take second at the Williams Cup held at Eagle Point Golf Club. Sophomore Connor Williams clinched second place individually with his 9-under (70-67-70=207) performance as he was one shot back from PGATour U No. 2 David Ford.

The Maroon and Gold maintained the best scoring average on the Par 3's and Par 5's through round three, maintaining the best scoring average on the Par 5's for all three days of the tournament.

Josele Ballester finished tied for fifth and was tied for the most pars earned throughout the tournament at 39. Senior Preston Summerhays finished tied for 12th, notching the lone eagle for the Sun Devils on the front nine. Michael Mjaaseth finished tied for 17th while Peer Wernicke finished tied for 24th.

The Sun Devils take a well deserved break from tournaments for the remainder of 2024 and will kick off the spring at the Amer Ari Invitational in Puako, HI in February.
