TEMPE – Sun Devil Softball had 17 student-athletes named an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete for the 2023-24 academic year. Arizona State was also among the top 50 programs in NCAA DI with a 3.61 team GPA, according to the release from the NFCA on Tuesday.

The Sun Devils that achieved the requirements of a 3.50 GPA or higher for the 2023-24 academic year include Yannixa Acuña, Ayden Allen, Kenzie Brown, Shannon Cunningham, Alesia Denby, Kelsey Hall, Deborah Jones, Meika Lauppe, Audrey LeClair, Kayla Lissy, Makenzie Macfarlane, Mac Osborne, Maddie Pomykalski, Marissa Schuld, Samantha Swan, Libby Walsh, and Tanya Windle.

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division I led the way with 2,573 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2023-24.
