TEMPE - For the fourth consecutive season, Arizona State Men's Tennis has been named an ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) All-Academic Team. Sun Devils Spencer Brachman, Jacob Bullard, Murphy Cassone, Nicola Cigna and Max McKennon each collected the 2023 ITA Scholar-Athlete award as announced by ITA Monday morning.
"We are always super proud and impressed with our guys on the team when it comes to them showing us how serious they are about school and tennis," head coach Matt Hill said. "They have been a top performing men's team for four years running, and it helps them all-around. In my experience, the best athletes I've coached are able to transfer their discipline and owrk ethic to all areas of their lives."
In 2023, 959 Division I Men's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 162 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
Aside from their ITA individual accolades, Spencer Brachman, Jacob Bullard, Murphy Cassone, Nicola Cigna and Max McKennon have been named to the 2023 Spring Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.
To be named Pac-12 Honor Roll, one must meet the following requirements:

To be named Pac-12 Honor Roll, one must meet the following requirements:
- Any student-athlete on their respective team roster with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3-or-above
- Who has served at least one year in residence at the institution
- Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
- Be listed on the institutional eligibility form
- Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
- All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
- All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year
