COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – In back-to-back seasons, six of Arizona State women's triathletes have been listed to All-American honors by the College Triathlon Coaches Association. Under head coach Cliff English, the triathlon program has produced 26 All-Americans since the 2016 season.
"I'm very proud of this team," English said. "The goal for our program has been about excelling in the classroom and in our sport, and this team exemplifies this mission."
2022 individual National Champion Amber Schlebusch, senior captain Liberty Ricca and Canadian Alexe Coursol were named to the First Team All-American team.
This is the second time Schlebusch has made the First Team while Coursol made Honorable Mention in 2021.
Sophomore Camille Buchanan's eighth place finish earned her Second Team All-American followed by Heidi Jurankova and Evan Welch being named Honorable Mention. All, their first time notched with the All-American honor.
During the collegiate off season, the athletes will compete worldwide for their countries as they prepare for the 2023 season.
