SAN FRANCISCO – Freshman pin hitter Marta Levinska was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week after helping Sun Devil Volleyball take down the No. 8 Washington Huskies in the season opener over the weekend.
In the first conference weekly awards of the season, Levinska represented the Sun Devils. This is the second season in a row with a freshman of the week nod after Iman Isanovic earned the nod in 2019.
Levinska had a stellar opening weekend to her college career. In the first match of the season, Arizona State swept No. 8 Washington. She led the team in kills with 18 in the upset, which was the first top-10 win for ASU since 2015 and the first win in Seattle since 2012. In Saturday's match, she earned her first double-double. She totaled a team-high 31 kills over the weekend.

The Sun Devils will host the Washington State Cougars on Thursday and Saturday this week. Both matches will be on the ASU Live Stream.
