Thoughts on the meet
"Overall, it was a good meet for us today but just not a complete performance from start to finish. We got off to a good start on bars but struggled with some details on beam and floor. The vault lineup was able to turn it around and finish really strong, which was great to see. I'm really happy with how the vaults have looked over the last two weeks."
On upper classmen leadership
"It was great to see Cairo hit a big bar routine to finish the first rotation after we had a fall. It gave us a lift to keep things moving from the start. Morgan Wilson added another strong floor routine after we had a small mistake there as well. It is great to see our upper classmen coming through when we need them."
On the landings
"Overall our landings were a little off today, so that is definitely one area we will need to keep working on and making improvements. Last week we landed really well with lots of stuck landings, so we know we are capable of doing it. We have another tough opponent next week in UCLA, so we need to keep pushing ourselves in practice to perform at a high level."
