@SunDevilMGolf Has Four Earn All-Pac-12 Honors

The @SunDevilMGolf program had two freshmen and two sophomores earn All-Pac-12 honors, as sophomore Alex del Rey led the way with a First-Team All-Pac-12 selection. Sophomore Chun An Yu earned second-team honors, Chandler (Ariz.) native Mason Andersen earned All-Freshmen Team and Koichiro Ishika earned Honorable Mention All-Freshmen.

A win at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate in September put del Rey on the right path as he has posted four top-10 finishes in 10 appearances. He has posted 11 rounds in the 60s and he also finished fourth at the Gopher Invitational and tied for ninth at the Amer Ari Invitational to start the spring season and followed that up with a tie for ninth at the Bandon Dunes Championship in March 11-13.

In his sophomore season Chun An Yu won the 83-player Bandon Dunes Championship in March with a 13-under 200 and also tied for second at the National Invitational in Tucson in February. He also tied for eighth at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational.

Andersen, from nearby Hamilton High School in Chandler, Ariz., finished fifth at the Tavistock Invitational in October and tied for seventh at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate in March.

Ishika will enter the Raleigh Regional May 14-16 coming off his best collegiate round. He shot an 11-under 273 to finish sixth at the Pac-12 Championship and was the best freshman finisher.
