With 20 points and four assists at Oregon State, freshman Jahii Carson is averaging 16.9 points and 5.3 assists per game, just shy of a pretty solid note. According to ESPN Stats, no freshman has averaged 17 points and five assists in a season since Shaheen Holloway of Seton Hall in 1996-97 (17.3/6.3)...has led or shared the team lead in scoring in 10 games this season...has 85 assists, on pace for 150 which has been done by just 11 freshmen at Pac-12 schools...vs. Creighton he became fourth Sun Devil freshman to score 30...six 20-point games (30 vs. No. 14 Creighton, 21 vs. CS Northridge and Cornell, 20 at Oregon State and vs. Hartford and Florida A&M) already is tied for fourth-best among ASU freshmen.
