TEMPE, Ariz.--It was only fitting that the Gym Devil seniors would shine on a night to honor and celebrate their hard work and commitment to Arizona State. The 23rd-ranked Sun Devils, highlighted by strong routines from Stephanie Hangartner, Amanda Davies, Callie Price and Beaté Jones, fell to No. 11 Stanford 196.475-194.975. On a night with great atmosphere from the season-high crowd, the Gym Devils welcomed the men's gymnastics club team, hosted a "black out" meet and celebrated the six ASU seniors in their final home meet.

The Gym Devils stared off the night by setting a season-high 49.075 on vault. Sophomore Samantha Seaman won her first vault title of the season scoring a 9.875 in the event to tie her career high set in her freshman season. With Price's score of a 9.825 and Jones' score of 9.850, the final three Sun Devils in the line-up each recorded scores of 9.825 or higher.

Arizona State channeled their momentum from vault, moving on to score a total of 48.700 on bars. The event was highlighted by Hangartner's career-high score of 9.850, which broke the senior's previous high of 9.825 orginially set in 2010. Seaman scored a 9.750 for the second-highest Sun Devil total.

On beam, freshman Morgan Steigerwalt saved the best for last, setting a new career-high with a score of 9.825 to round-out the Sun Devil line-up. Despite counting a fall in the event, Arizona State used the momentum from Steigerwalt's performance to propell them on to a solid team score on floor.

Seaman once again paced the Sun Devils, scoring a 9.825 on floor to lead off Arizona State in the event. However, the crowd of 2,018 really came to life when senior Amanda Davies took the floor. Behind the cheers of the black-clad fans, Davies matched Seaman's score of 9.825 in her final event on the maroon carpet in Wells Fargo Arena.

Jones' 9.775 on floor solidified the senior's fourth all-around victory of the seaon, taking the overall title with a score of 39.050. Jones is currently ranked 20th in the nation in the all-around and fifth overall in the Pac-12 Conference.

Arizona State will finish the regular season next Friday, Mar. 16 at Denver at 6:00 p.m. MT before heading to the Pac-12 Championships in Utah on Mar. 24.
