In its final game of the Judy Garman classic, fifth-ranked softball was rained out against Notre Dame. ASU will open Pac-12 play at home against starting March 23.

The Sun Devils remain 28-3 this season. Since the game did not play through five complete innings it does not count towards a win or loss for either team.

In the second, Katelyn Boyd’s infield single scored pinch runner Kayla Ketchum, who was on courtesy of Haley Steele being walked four batters earlier. The 1-0 lead was carried until a rain delay forced both teams off the field in the top of the fourth.

Mackenzie Popescue made the start for ASU in the circle but the game does not count toward her season records.
