EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif.--The Arizona State men's swimming team held steady in sixth place after the third day of competition at the 2012 Pac-12 Championships in East Los Angeles, Calif.

JH Vivadelli led the way for the Sun Devils on Friday, finishing in 13th in the men's 400 IM with an NCAA consideration time of 3:53.94 in the event. Derek Knittle also swam in the finals of the event, finishing in 20th with a time of 3:58.38.

Yutaro Yamashita took 15th in the 100 fly with a time of 48.82 to score two points for the Sun Devils. Herbie Behm also qualified for the finals, swimming the 100 fly in a time of 49.05 to take 18th. 

Jesper Akesson took 12th place overall in the 100 breast for ASU. The senior touched in with a time of 55.68, just shy of an NCAA consideration time. Deniz Hekmati was right behind, finishing the event with a time of 55.68.

In the 100 back, David Adalsteinsson finished in 19th with a time of 49.39, while Nolan Brown finished 22nd in the event recording a time of 50.47.

The final day of the 2012 Pac-12 Championships concludes tomorrow in East Los Angeles, Calif. The Sun Devils hold steady in sixth place with a score of 175.5.
