The Arizona State men's golf team sits in 3rd-place after the first two rounds of the Bill Cullum Invitational at Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley, Calif. Senior Spencer Fletcher once again leads the way for the Sun Devils at 4-under-par through the first 36 holes.

Fletcher shot a 4-under-par 68 in the first round and an even 72 in the second to be tied for 3rd-place with three other players. He trails Denver's C.J. Kim, who fired a course-record 64 in the first round, by two strokes.

Freshman Mathias Schjoelberg shot a 3-over-par 75 in the first round before shooting 5-under-par in the second round to put him tied for 10th-place at 2-under. Freshman Stan Gautier trails Schjoelberg by one stroke as he is tied for 14th. He shot 1-under-par in the first round and was even in the final 18.

Junior Jin Song sits tied for 36th at 4-over-par. He was 1-under in the first round. Freshmen David Lowe and Austin Quick are tied for 44th and 51st respectively. Lowe is at 6-over-par while Quick is at 7-over-par.

The Sun Devils, at 5-under-par, trail leader Long Beach State by four strokes heading into the final round. Denver is in second at 7-under-par.

The first groups tee off tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m. (PT). Results will be posted at gomatadors.com.
