RANCHO BERNARDO, Calif.—The ninth-ranked Arizona State women’s golf team finished in 11th place at the Battle at the Rancho Bernardo Inn outside San Diego, Calif. The Sun Devils shot a three-round total of 53-over 917 to close out the tournament.
Junior Giulia Molinaro led the Sun Devils shooting a total of 2-over 218 (69-76-73) for 54 holes to tie for fourth place. Freshman Justine Lee shot a 73 in the final round of the tournament for a total of 12-over 228 to tie for 31.
Junior Carlota Ciganda did not travel due to illness.
The Sun Devils will have a week break back in Arizona from their hectic spring tournament schedule before hosting the 2011 PING/ASU Intercollegiate at the ASU Karsten Golf Course, Apr. 1-3.
