AUSTIN, Texas--Arizona State diver Elina Eggers finished in second place on the women's platform on Saturday night at the 2011 NCAA Championships in Austin, Tex. The national runner-up scored 345.60 in the event to earn her second-consecutive All-American honors.

Eggers, who had previously placed fourth on the platform in 2010, finished less than 10 points behind first-place finisher Brittany Viola of Miami.

Overall, the Sun Devils finished 18th nationally, up four spots from a 22nd-place finish in 2010.

The Arizona State 800 free style relay, comprised of Shannon Landgrebe, Cassie Morrice, Tristin Baxter and Katie Haron, finished in 15the place overall, touching in with a time of 7:19.49.

Notably over the weekend at nationals, the 200 medley relay set a new school record with a time of 1:37.56 to finish eighth nationally. While individually, Caroline Kuczynski finished in 16th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 53:85.
