Blaha, who was runner-up at the Pac-10 Championships on 3-meter, scored a school record setting 457.05 points to win the consolation final and place ninth overall. His mark surpassed that of Micky Benedetti, who previously held ASU's high mark with 455.40 points. After missing one of his dives, Blaha was just out of qualifying for the championship final after earning 402.25 points in the preliminaries.
