The Arizona State swimming and diving teams were swept in the Bay this weekend as they dropped their meet to Stanford. The women fell 184.5-111.5 to drop to 6-5 (2-4 Pac-10). The men lost 140-86 and are now 2-6 (0-3 Pac-10).
Sophomore Rebecca Ejdervik clocked in an NCAA consideration time in the 100 breast to help lead the Sun Devils. She finished in 1:02.23 to claim first in the event. Jamie Martinez won the 100 back after touching the wall at 56.06. Martinez also placed second in the 200 back, finishing in 2:01.21. Xavier Mohammed placed second in the 200 back with a time of 1:48.59.
Diving again fared well for the Sun Devils. Elina Eggers won the 3-meter by almost 10 points, scoring 301.87 to place first. Eggers also finished runner-up in the 1-meter, scoring 295.57 to finish just behind Stanford's Meg Hostage. Riley McCormick won the 1-meter by earning a score of 338.70. He also finished second on the 3-meter with 359.90 points.
The team will host Arizona for its final dual meet of the season on February 13.
