After a rough final round, the Arizona State women's golf team finished second at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational. The Sun Devils shot a 12-over 300 in the final round to finish 14-over 878 (287-291-300) and six shots behind tournament winner Purdue.
Carlota Ciganda and Azahara Munoz tied for fifth. Ciganda shot a 2-over 218 (73-72-73) while Munoz shot a 4-over 76 in the final round to finish 2-over 218 (72-70-76).
Playing as an individual, Jennifer Osborn placed ninth. The senior shot a 3-over 219 (70-75-74). Jaclyn Sweeney tied for 10th. The sophomore transfer carded a 4-over 220 (73-74-73).
Giulia Molinaro finished tied for 23rd after shooting a 10-over 225 (71-76-78). Junior Juliana Murcia finished the tournament tied for 26th after carding a 10-over 226 (71-75-80).
The Sun Devils will host the PING/ASU Invitational. The tournament, held at the Karsten Golf Course, will take place April 3-5.
