The NCAA Women's Swimming Championships kicked off today at the Student Rec Center Natatorium in College Station, Texas. Only one Arizona State swimmer competed as two look to make their first appearance in the championship tomorrow.
Senior Jen Beckberger swam in the 50 free in the first day of the Championships. The Canadian senior clocked a season-high 22.78 in the event, finishing 47th overall.
Beckberger will swim in the 200 free tomorrow and the 100 free on Saturday. Junior Ashton Aubry, who is currently ranked 12th in the 100 fly, will begin her NCAA quest tomorrow. Freshman Jordyn Green will also swim tomorrow (100 breast) and Saturday (200 breast
