The top-ranked Arizona State women's golf team continued their dominance into day two of the NCAA West Regional. The Sun Devils are now 16 shots ahead of second after carding 20-under 556 (273-283) over the first two rounds. No. 3 USC is currently the closest competitor at 4-under 572 (289-283).

Freshman star Carlota Ciganda took over the lead. The 2009 Pac-10 Champion finished the second round 9-under 135 (67-68) to take control of the lead over compatriot Belen Mozo of USC. Ciganda knocked in five birdies on the day.

Juliana Murcia has continued to be one of the team's most consistent golfers. The junior has shot 6-under 138 (68-70) over the rounds. Murcia had four birdies over the day and will enter the final round in fourth place.

Reigning NCAA Champion Azahara Munoz shot a 1-under 71 in the second round. Munoz bounced back after a bogey on hole 18 to finish the day with two straight birdies on eight and nine. The senior is currently tied for sixth at 4-under 140 (69-71).

Jennifer Osborn is currently tied for 10th after shooting 1-under 143 (69-74) over the first two round. Jaclyn Sweeney is currently 4-over 148 (73-75).

The Sun Devils tee off at 7:10 a.m. tomorrow on Hole 1.
