The Arizona State diving team qualified one diver for the NCAA Championships. Arizona State All-American diver Micky Benedetti won his second-straight Zone E 3-meter title. He finished with 807.95, almost 30 points more than second-place, to secure a spot at the NCAA Championships. Benedetti also won the 3-meter at the Pac-10 Championships earlier this season.
Senior Erin Hobbs was just shy of qualifying for the finals in the women's 1-meter. Hobbs finished 19th with 219.90 points. Brittany Jumer placed 23rd with 218.30 points. On the men's side, Cameron Bradshaw scored 225.60 points.
Both the men and women will compete on platform tomorrow.
