The Arizona State women's swimming and diving team wrapped up day one of the NCAA Championships with a new school record. The 200 free relay team of Caitlin Andrew, Jen Beckberger, Lindsey Brown and Jess Perazzo clocked in a time of 1:29.60, to shatter their record set two weeks prior at the Pac-10 Championships. The time was good enough to win the consolation final, moving them up four spots from the preliminary round.

Andrew also qualified for the 50 free consolation final. The senior placed fifth in the consolation final with a time of 22.55.

The Sun Devils stand in 18th with 22 points. Andrew and Ashton Aubry will compete in the 100 fly. Beckberger, Brown and Perazzo all qualified for the 200 free, while Lindsey Russenberger will compete in the 100 breast.
