Micky Benedetti did it again. The junior from Rome won his second Pac-10 title of the year as he claimed the championship on the one-meter at the 2008 Pac-10 Diving Championships. Benedetti moved up two spots from earlier in the day to place first with a total of 366.20 points. This is Benedetti's fourth Pac-10 title. He won the three-meter and the platform at last season's Pac-10 Championships and won the three-meter yesterday.
Junior Erin Hobbs placed second in the women's three meter with a score of 296.30. This is the junior's highest finish at the Pac-10 Championships. Brittany Jumer also placed a solid six at the championships with a score of 283.20.
The Pac-10 Diving Championships conclude tomorrow as both the men and the women will compete in the platform.
