Despite victories from CJ Nuess and the Sun Devil women's relay teams, the men and women's swimming and diving teams fell to the California Bears, 158-129 for the women and 159.5-123.5 for the men.

Nuess came in first in the 1000 free with a time of 9:24.75, the first of three event victories for Nuess. In the next event, the 200 back, Sean Boyle placed second in the 200 free with a time of 1:38.24, Vinicius Waked was right behind him in third at 1:38.41.

The women's team started off the meet strong. The 200 medley relay team of Jen Beckberger, Sara McDaniel, Caitlin Andrew and Jess Perazzo clocked in a time of 1:43.77 to win the event. The Sun Devils also got an individual victory from Brittany Jumer, who won the three meter with a time of 274.

Ante Cvitkovic placed second in the 100 and 200 back, coming in at 50.20 and 1:50.35 respectively. Boyle clocked in a time of 1:50.44, good enough to come in second in the 200 fly.

Andrew placed second in the 100 back. The senior All-American touched in at 55.34. In the 100 breast the Sun Devils placed first and second. Lindsey Russenberger won the event for the Sun Devils with a time 1:04.85. McDaniel was right behind her with at time of 1:04.88.

The Sun Devil men swept the 500 free. Nuess won his second event of the day with a time of 4:32.57. Waked came in second at 4:35.19, while Nolan Ruane placed third. The Sun Devils also swept the 100 fly. Boyle placed first with a time of 49.52. John Dwelley and Alex Hier placed second and third.

Beckberger and Perazzo came in second and third in the women's 100 free. Beckberger clocked in a time of 51.61 while Perazzo touched in at 51.72. In the women's 200 back, Rikka Brunner placed second with a time of 2:03.52. Jamie Martinez and Emlynn Tursick tied for third with a time of 2:07.82. Two Sun Devils also came in second and third in the 200 breast as Russenberger placed second and McDaniel was third.

Nuess won his final event of the night, the 400 IM. He clocked in a time of 3:55.95. Colin Gladys placed second in the 400 IM. Micky Benedetti won the three meter for the Sun Devils with a dive of 388.95 and placed second in the one meter with an NCAA automatic qualifying dive of 339.

In the 500 free, Ellis Schieman placed second overall with Shannon Garrett coming in third. Andrew placed second overall in the 100 fly with a time of 54.87.In the 400 IM, Ashley Evans clocked in a time of 4:26.92 to place second while Brunner came in third.

Both the men and the women's 200 free relay team won the final event of the day. The men's team of Steve Neuwert, Magnus Kjellberg, Mohammed Madwa and Miran Terzic clocked in a time of 1:23.83. The women's team of Caitlin Andrew, Jen Beckberger, Katie Haron and Jess Perazzo touched in at 1:33.14.
