Tucson, Ariz. - The Arizona State women's golf team slipped into fifth place after the second round of the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Ariz. ASU shot a 32-over 316 in the second round of the tournament for a two-day total of 35-over 603 (287-316). Oklahoma State moved into first place, shooting a two-round total of 18-over 586.
Leading the Sun Devils after the second round, junior All-American Azahara Munoz shot a two-round total of 3-over 145 (72-73) to tie for third. Sophomore Juliana Murcia moved into a tie for 15th after shooting a two-day total of 7-over 149 (70-79). Sophomore All-American Anna Nordqvist is tied for 38th after shooting a two-round total of 12-over 154 (74-80). Junior All-American Jennifer Osborn shot a two-day total of 13-over 155 (71-84) to tie for 45th. Graduate Brooke Todare is tied for 91st after shooting a two-round total of 36-over (90-88).
Senior Camila Sola, playing as an individual, is in 79th after shooting a two-round total of 24-over 166 (82-84). Sophomore Liisa Kelo, also playing as an individual, shot a two-day total of 36-over 178 (86-92).
Duke's Amanda Blumenherst continues to lead the tournament, shooting a 2-under 140.
The final round of the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by the University of Arizona, concludes tomorrow at the par-71, 6,166-yard Arizona National Golf Course.
