Franklin, Tenn. - The Arizona State women's golf team finished in second at the 2007 Mason Rudolph Women's Championship in Franklin, Tenn. The Sun Devils shot a three-day total of 1-over 865 (280-293-292) to place second over an abundant field which featured 13 teams ranked in the top-25 of the recent Golf World/NCGA Coaches' Poll.

UCLA ran away with the top-spot, shooting a 13-under 851 for the tournament.

Sophomore All-American Anna Nordqvist led the Sun Devils, shooting a three-day total of 9-under 207 (68-68-71) to finish in second place. In three rounds, Nordqvist carded eleven birdies with only two bogeys.

Junior All-American Azahara Munoz finished in sixth place after shooting a three-day total of 5-under 211 (67-73-71). Munoz first round score of 67 ties her career-low round which she last shot in the Las Vegas Founders Collegiate Showdown in 2006.

Junior All-American Jennifer Osborn shot a three-day total of 5-over 221 (72-75-74) to tie for 28th. Sophomore Juliana Murcia tied for 54th after shooting an 11-over 227 (73-77-77) for the tournament. Senior Camila Sola tied for 70th after shooting a 15-over 231 (78-77-76).

Duke's Amanda Blumenherst finished in first-place individually, shooting a 13-under 203.

Next up, the Sun Devils travel to Albuquerque, N.M. to compete in the 2007 Fall Preview, Sept. 24-26.
