Seattle, Wash. - The Arizona State women's golf team is in second place after the first round of the 2007 Edean Ihlanfeldt. ASU shot a 13-over 301, five strokes behind first place USC.

Sophomore All-American Anna Nordqvist, one of only three golfers to shoot under par, is tied for first place after carding a 2-under 70 in round one. Junior All-American Azahara Munoz is tied for 12th after shooting a 4-over 76. Senior Camila Sola shot a 5-over 77 in the first round to tie for 20th. Junior All-American Jennifer Osborn and sophomore Juliana Murcia are tied for 31st after shooting a 6-over 78.

The second round of the 2007 Edean Ihlanfeldt continues tomorrow at the par-72, 6,127-yard Sahalee Country Club in the Seattle suburb of Sammamish, Wash.
