LAS VEGAS - The Arizona State University women's swimming and diving team remains undefeated after topping the University of Nevada Las Vegas Rebels 205-95. The Sun Devils are now 3-0 on the season. The men fell 158.5-141.5 and are now 0-3 on the season.

Multiple women garnered wins against the Rebels. All American senior captain Caitlin Andrew placed first in the 100 backstroke (57.01), 200 back (2:03.27) and 200 IM (2:08.07), as well as contributed to the winning 200 medley relay team. Jen Beckberger, Sara McDaniel and Jess Perazzo were also on the 200 medley team.

All American Jen Beckberger won the 50 freestyle, touching in at 23.81, and the 100 free with a time of 51.46. Freshman Shannon Garrett had her first collegiate victory in the 1000 free with a time of 10:22.15. Clocking in a time of 1:52.87, co-captain Lindsey Brown placed first in the 200 free. Jamie Martinez, Sara McDaniel and Ellis Schieman each had their own victories in the 200 butterfly (2:05.85), 100 breaststroke (1:05.25) and 500 free (5:04.01) respectively. Sophomore Ashton Aubry won the 100 fly in 57.76.

In diving, freshman Brittany Jumer had a breakthrough day as she won both the 1 meter and 3 meter with scores of 236.55 and 256.20. Erin Hobbs placed third in both events scoring 213.08 and 236.63.

The men were led by All Americans Micky Benedetti, CJ Nuess and Lucas Azevedo. Benedetti won both diving events. He posted a 437.63 in the 1 meter and 345.75 in the 3 meter.

Nuess was victorious in three events. He touched in at 9:29.66 in 1000 free and won the 200 breast in the 2:03.67. The All American senior also won the 200 IM with a time of 1:51.46.

Azevedo won the 200 free in 1:41.99 and the 500 free in 4:34.58. He also contributed to the winning 400 free relay team along with Steve Neuwert, Mohammed Madwa and Vinny Waked.

The Sun Devils return to action to host their first dual of the season against the University of California Santa Barbara on Friday October 26.
