Led by the veteran swimmers, the Arizona State women's swimming and diving team was victorious for the second straight day over the University of Hawaii.
Rikka Brunner placed first in three events. Brunner won the 100 back in a time of 1:08.50 and the 200 back touching in at 2:24.74. The junior also captured first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:27.88.
All-American senior Caitlin Andrew had a pair of first places as well. She finished first in the 100 fly with a time of 1:02.55 and in the 100 free (58.88).
Senior Ellis Schieman placed first in the 200 free, touching in at 2:08.07. Senior captain Lindsey Brown was right behind her, touching in at 2:09.05. Brown also placed second in the 100 free (59.57).
Ashton Aubry and Jen Beckberger also won an event in the 200 fly (2:24.74) and 50 free (26.96) respectively.
Jess Perazzo placed second in the 50 free behind Beckberger, touching in at 27.03 and finished third in the 100 free with a time of (1:00.07).
In diving, senior Erin Hobbs placed third on both the 1 meter and 3 meter with scores of 236.65 and 247.15 respectively.
The team of Andrew, Beckberger, Brown and Perazzo won the 400 free relay, finishing in 3:59.44.
The Sun Devils return to action on October 13th at UNLV.
