CORVALLIS, Ore. - Despite sophomore All-American Nicole Harris winning the all-around with a season-high 39.400, the No. 17 Arizona State Sun Devils fell 195.825-193.300 to the No. 16 Oregon State Beavers. Lauren Powell was the next highest Sun Devil in the all-around placing fourth with a 38.925. Seniors April Boone and Cassandra Jusino also competed in the all-around posting scores of 38. 475 and 37.600 respectively.

Earning their second best score of the season on bars, the Sun Devils posted a 48.325 in the first rotation. Harris lead the Sun Devils with a season-high 9.85 to earn first place. Placing fourth, Boone followed with the team's second highest score, a 9.775. Jusino posted a 9.65 to tie for seventh while Ashley Toner tied her career high on bars with a 9.55. The Beavers won bars scoring a 48.700.

On vault, the Sun Devils recorded a 49.000 to win the apparatus. Harris tied for first with Oregon State's Mandi Rodriguez after scoring her career high, a 9.9. Powell followed with a season high 9.875 to place third in the event. Boone tied for sixth with a 9.775. Ashlee Hinkle followed Boone with a solid 9.75. Scoring her career high, Vanessa Rocca recorded a 9.7. The Beavers posted a 48.775 on vault.

The Sun Devils took the floor in the third rotation. The Sun Devils stumbled on floor, recording three falls and posted a season-low 47.625. Powell was the leading Sun Devil as she recorded her season high, a 9.8 to tie for fourth. Harris followed placing sixth, scoring a 9.775. Hinkle was the next highest Sun Devil scorer with 9.575 to finish ninth. Oregon State posted a 49.175 on floor to win the apparatus.

On beam, Harris continued to shine as she posted a season-high 9.875 to take first. Boone placed fourth with a 9.825. Jusino tied for seventh with Beaver Brooke Barclay with a 9.775, while Powell scored 9.750 to take ninth. The Sun Devils had two falls however, and finished the meet scoring a 48.350 on beam. The Beavers won the event with a 49.125.

The Sun Devils return home Friday February 9 to host California and No. 8 Oklahoma in the annual UNO's Classic. The action begins at 7:00 p.m. MT.
