TEMPE, Ariz. (www.thesundevils.com) -- At the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships held in Athens, Ga., freshman diver Erin Hobbs (Calgary, Alberta) competed in the one-meter dive for the Sun Devils. Hobbs recorded a 243.75 in the preliminaries, but was unable to qualify for the finals.
Tomorrow at the NCAAs, the women will compete in the 400-yard IM, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard backstroke and the three-meter dive. Freshman Amy Konowalik (Derby, England) will represent the Sun Devils by competing in the 400-yard IM. Sophomore Caitlin Andrew (San Antonio, Texas) will compete in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke for ASU.
