LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Finishing up the final tournament of the fall season, the Arizona State women's golf finished the 2006 Las Vegas Founders Collegiate Showdown in second place. The third-ranked Sun Devils shot a 1-over 865, ten strokes short of first place Oklahoma State.

Sophomore All-American Azahara Munoz led the Sun Devils for the entire tournament, including tying her career low round of 67 in the second round. Munoz shot an even-par 72 in the third round to tie for second and record a three day total of 5-under 211 (72-67-72).

Freshman Anna Nordqvist shot a 69 on the day to move her into a tie for 10th place. Nordqvist carded a three-day total of an even-par 211 (73-74-69). Sophomore All-American Jennifer Osborn shot a 1-over 217 (74-72-71) to tie for 12th place. Freshman Juliana Murcia finished in 46th after carding a 10-over 226 (73-81-72) and junior Camila Sola shot an 11-over 227 (75-76-76) to tie for 47th place.

The 2006 Las Vegas Founders Collegiate Showdown was the final tournament of the fall season. The Sun Devils resume the spring season in Palos Verdes, Calif at the TRW Regional Challenge Feb. 12-14.
