TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Kristen Kovesdy had 18 points and seven rebounds, and freshman Danielle Orsillo scored a season-high 16 points in 18 minutes, leading No. 15 Arizona State to a 73-61 win over No. 18 New Mexico on Tuesday night.

Kovesdy shot 6-of-8 from the floor for the Sun Devils (7-1), who shot 51 percent for their fourth consecutive victory. Arizona State evened its series against the Lobos at 7-7 with their first win in four games.

Dionne Marsh scored 17 points for New Mexico (6-2), which had its four-game winning streak snapped. Abbie Letz added 12 points and seven rebounds, and Jana Francis had 10 points.

The Lobos, who trailed 46-30 at halftime, got within nine at 68-59 with 2:54 left on Letz's layup. But Arizona State's Reagan Pariseau made a 3-pointer 13 seconds later and the Sun Devils stayed in control.

After New Mexico scored the opening basket of the game, the Sun Devils went on a 20-8 run and took a 20-10 lead with 11:54 remaining in the first half.
