LOS ANGELES (www.TheSunDevils.com) -- Despite receiving double digits in kills from four different players, the Arizona State Sun Devils dropped their eighth straight match in a four-game loss to No. 21 UCLA Saturday night in Pac-10 volleyball action at Pauley Pavilion. Game scores were 30-23, 33-31, 17-30, 30-23 in favor of the Bruins.

The Sun Devils fall to 6-13 overall and 1-8 in Pac-10 play. With the victory, UCLA improves to 11-7 overall and 4-5 in league play.

Junior outside hitter Nicole Morton (Fallbrook, Calif.) led ASU with 15 kills and added 12 digs for her fourth double-double of the season. Junior Nina Reeves (Gilbert, Ariz.) also had 14 kills and Colette Meek (Sherwood Park, Alberta) and Margie Giordano each had 11 kills in the loss.

Sophomore libero Sydney Donahue (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) led the Sun Devils with 24 digs. Senior setter Giovana Melo had 38 assists and a career-high 19 digs.

Caitlin Sather led all players with 21 kills and recorded the double-double with 15 digs. Nellie Spicer paced the Bruins offense with 59 assists and Nana Meriwether recorded four blocks.

The Sun Devils return home next weekend to host Washington State (Thursday) and No. 2 Washington (Friday) at Wells Fargo Arena.
