OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Arizona State sophomore diver Trisha Tumlinson finished in third place on the 1-meter springboard this afternoon at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships at the Oklahoma City Community College Pool. She scored a 540.70 for the day.

Tumlinson completed the morning preliminary session in second place with 272.00 points, eight-tenths of a point ahead of Ashlee Rosenthal of Stanford. Rosenthal came back in the final session though to total a 548.00 to edge the Sun Devil diver. USC's Blythe Hartley captured the 1-meter title today after claiming the 3-meter title yesterday.

ASU's Jessica Stenson came in 12th place in the 1-meter finals today with a total of 458.65 after finishing 11th in the morning trials. Tumlinson and Stenson finished in sixth place and eighth place, respectively, in yesterday's 3-meter competition.

The men's results from today were not available.

Divers who qualify in the top three advance to their respective NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships later this month. The women's meet is March 20-22 in Auburn, Ala., while the men's meet is March 27-29 in Austin, Texas. Action at the Zone E Meet concludes tomorrow with the platform competition.
