WALNUT, Calif. - Arizona State junior thrower Vince Mosca earned an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the men's discus, placing third with a personal-best effort of 182 feet, 10 inches during day two of the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif. Saturday.

Mosca finished only behind SMU's Hannes Hopley (202-9) and Texas A&M's Josh Ralston (185-4). Already a provisional qualifier in the men's shot put this season, Mosca's discus mark ranks ninth in ASU history.
