CSC Academic All-Americans
Founded in the 1950s, the Academic All-America program, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), is the premier award recognizing excellence in academics and athletics. CSC members nominate and vote for honorees in 16 sports, including soccer, basketball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and more.
The Sun Devils now have 163 CSC Academic All-Americans entering the 2026-27 athletic season, the most in the Big 12.

RIP: Remembering Art Becker, Arizona State's first Academic All-American
As we celebrate the legacy of Sun Devil All-Americans, we also pause to honor the man who started it all. Art Becker, Arizona State’s first Academic All-American, set the standard for excellence both in competition and in the classroom.
A standout on the basketball court, a two-time ABA All-Star, and a lifelong leader in collegiate athletics, Becker’s impact extended far beyond his playing days.
Following his passing in 2026, we remember his remarkable legacy and the foundation he helped build for generations of Sun Devils who have earned All-America recognition.
