TEMPE, Ariz. - Fox Sports Arizona will air an hour-long special on the 2005 Pac-10 Women's Golf Championships this weekend.
FSN Arizona will broadcast the show at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 and again at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 with Barry Tompkins, former Stanford golfer Sara Sanders and former Baylor golfer Christian Steckel calling the action.
Led by Pac-10 Golfer and Freshman of the Year Louise Stahle, the ASU women's golf team finished second at this year's Pac-10 Championships, held April 18-20 at the Ruby Hill Golf Course in Pleasanton, Calif. The Sun Devils ended up just four strokes behind league champion UCLA and turned in their best finish since 1998.
Stahle, who continues to be the top-ranked player in the country, came from four strokes behind in the final round to win ASU's ninth Pac-10 individual championship and the first since Jimin Kang in 2002.
