About ASU beach volleyball courts
Opened for the 2022 season, The Sun Devil Beach Volleyball Facility, located just east of Farrington Softball Stadium, provides four courts to host NCAA beach volleyball play, intramural sports, and university and community events.
The facility includes natural grass with flexible seating options for spectators and teams, a beach volleyball-specific scoreboard to keep players and spectators up-to-date on all the action. There are also 80-foot candles of illumination on all four courts to accommodate night competitions and broadcasting.
Features to help student-athletes and spectators beat the heat include a cooled water drinking fountain and a beach shower. Coaches also control cooling the sand with a switch that runs irrigation for each court.
