About the John Spini Gymnastics Center
The John Spini Gymnastics Center, dedicated in 2006, is a state-of-the-art practice facility for the women's gymnastics team. Located within the Verde Dickey Athletic Complex, the center includes locker rooms, showers and sports medicine facilities.
The facility is named in honor of John Spini, who served as ASU's head women's gymnastics coach from 1981 to 2014. During his tenure, Spini led the Sun Devils to 21 NCAA championships and coached 27 All-Americans, with six athletes winning individual NCAA titles.
