2012 softball recap
- Softball made its 10th appearance at the Women's College World Series, finishing third overall with a final record of 53-11.

- Freshman Amber Freeman named to the Women's College World Series All-Tournament team after leading the tournament with a .500 batting average.

- Hillary Bach threw just the 7th ever perfect game in program history (3/3/12 vs. Wichita State) and Dallas Escobedo and Mackenzie Popescue each throw no-hitters (first personal for both).

- Program bests: seven Pac-12 conference weekly awards (a program single-season best), 21 wins against ranked opponents and 24 mercy rule wins (program best).

- In single-season marks, ASU had six four-homer games, two grand slams against Stanford (4/20/12), 17 hits against East Carolina (3/9/12), and 11 stolen bases against Howard (3/3/12).

- For the year, six grand slams were recorded: Katelyn Boyd (2), Alix Johnson (2), Amber Freeman, Haley Steele.

- Off the field, 19 academic awards were donned by the Sun Devils including four with the highest prestige in Division I softball, Academic All-America status (most in a single year in program history).

- The senior class of Nikole Afusia, Hillary Bach, Katelyn Boyd, Laura Bradley, Talor Haro, Annie Lockwood and Christina Zambrana finished their careers ranked fifth nationally in win percentage, 203-51 (.799).

- Softball Attendance Breakdown: 46 home dates; home attendance - 57,242; average home attendance - 1,244
